Jesus told his disciples that whatever we do for those in prison we do for Jesus. At Salem we believe in serving all go God’s people like Jesus wants us to. For that reason Salem partners with Wisconsin Lutheran Institutional Ministries as well as WELS Prison Ministries to reach out to prisoners with the gospel. Our Pastors also work closely with several chaplains throughout the state of Wisconsin and make visits to several state and county facilities. If one of your loved ones has been incarcerated we will do our best to get them spiritual care and gospel-based educational materials.
Contact Pastor John with any requests for pastoral care to the incarcerated. Please include the facility, full name of the inmate, inmate number, and any other appropriate information in that request.
If you are struggling with any mental health issues, our pastors are happy to assist you. The pastors can help you confidentially with a spiritual component to whatever struggles you may be facing. We also partner with Wisconsin Lutheran Christian Family Solutions counselors who are qualified and equipped to serve you in a professional way.
If you are having a mental health emergency and your situation is potentially life-threatening, get immediate emergency assistance by calling 911.
